Portland And Kensington

BOWLING

On Saturday three rinks from the Portland Bowling Club visited the Kensington Club’s greens, and games played between the two clubs resulted as follows (Portland rinks mentioned first):—Penning, Davis. Budge, McLaren 21. Webb, Strihger, Boucher, Walder 25; Wilson, Thompson, Bulmer. Grant 16, Ferguson. -A. H. Johnston. Smeaton, Boag 21; Lomas. Gillespie. Holland. W. Williams 30, Causer, Richards, Georgeson, Horner 9. Kensington Club’s competition games played were:—Bateman, Drummond, Northover. Huy ton 21. Miller, Smith, Kelly. Walker 15; Calder, W. Cullen, McGahey, Littlejohn 17. McKenzie, West, Taylor. Gribble 19; Goodison, McGregor. Lowe, Moore 21, Marshall, Gray. Grist, Steadman 17; Green. J. Culien, Woolley 20, Hanlon, May, Simons 24. At the conclusion of the competition games a drawing competition was held for a prize donated by the club president. Mr T. Walder. and this was won by A. Ferguson.
