Te Puhi

The monthly meeting of the Te Puhi Women’s Institute was held on February 7, Mrs Tracey presiding over a good attendance. The luncheon hostesses were Mrs A. White and Miss Webber.

The lucky shilling was won by Master Ken Edwards, and “something for nothing,” donated by Miss Webber, was won by Mrs Edwards. The competitions for the month were ginger gems, a costume front and six perfect blooms. The junior section was a sponge roll, an “Alice” hairband and six perfect blooms.
