Mangapai
The February meeting was fairly well attended, when the annual meeting also took place. Members stood in silence in memory of the late Mrs John Graham. Mrs Griffin, of Whangarei, who later gave an interesting demonstration on rug making, acted as scrutineer. The now officers for the year are: President, Mrs F. Price: vice-president and treasurer, Mrs W. A. Thomson; secretary, Miss Eva Gulbransen; committee, Mesdames B. Finlayson, Gulbransen, Hayward, Cotton, J. Graham, Watson and Miss J. Lornie. Afternoon tea was served by Mesdames P. Carter, Watson and Hayward.
