Mr Jack Smith has recommenced duties at the post office after his annual leave. Miss M. Buller has been on a short visit to Auckland. Mr A. G. Lane, postmaster, has been on a week’s leave from duties. Mr and Mrs B. O. Heather have returned to the township from a holiday spent in the South. Social Evening. Mr and Mrs J. J. Molioy held a party at their home on Friday evening. Dances and games were held during the evening, the music being supplied by Mrs Randall Yarborough and Mr T. Brown. A treasure hunt was won by Miss Nancy Andrewcs. Some of those present were: —Misses Marny Molioy, Jean Pearson, Ngaire Page,' Shirley Page, Nancy Andrewes and Ilcen Congrieve, Mr and Mrs Goo.
