Mr Jack Smith has recommenced duties at the post office after his annual leave. Miss M. Buller has been on a short visit to Auckland. Mr A. G. Lane, postmaster, has been on a week’s leave from duties. Mr and Mrs B. O. Heather have returned to the township from a holiday spent in the South. Social Evening. Mr and Mrs J. J. Molioy held a party at their home on Friday evening. Dances and games were held during the evening, the music being supplied by Mrs Randall Yarborough and Mr T. Brown. A treasure hunt was won by Miss Nancy Andrewcs. Some of those present were: —Misses Marny Molioy, Jean Pearson, Ngaire Page,' Shirley Page, Nancy Andrewes and Ilcen Congrieve, Mr and Mrs Goo. Andrewes, Mr and Mrs Randall Yarborough. and Messrs D. Bell, RSpeedy, L. Pearson, L. Andrewes, D. Andrewes, M. Collins C. Messenger | and T. Brown. 1
