[Special to “Northern Advocate ”] HAMILTON, This Day. At the Frankton stock sale yesterday an extra heavy yarding of all classes of fat sheep came forward. The New Zealand Loan and Mercantile Agency Co., Ltd., reports: Cattle.—Light unfinished , bullocks, £8 3/- to £9; plain, £6 5/-; heavy , prime Polled Angus cows, £lO 9/- to £lO 10/-; prime, £8 7/- to £8 18/-; light, £7 9/- to £7 14/-; prime Shorthorn cows, £8 15/-; light, £7 to £7 4/-; unfinished, £6 4/- to £6 17/-; j light fat Jersey cows, £5 5/- to £5 j 7/6; heavy boner cows, £4 2/6 to £4 t 10/-; medium, £3 10/r to £3 19/-;
goed quality weaner Jersey heifers, £3 11/-; mixed coloured weaner heifers, £2 to £2 10/r. Sheep.—Prime fat wethers. 26/- to 27/6; medium, 23/- to 25/6; others, 20/- to 22/6; good fat ewes, 17/- to 18/9; medium, 14/6 to 16/-; medium lambs, 17/- to 19/6; light, 14/6 to 16/-. Pigs.—Top weight baconers, £4 8/-; lighter, £3 18/--to £4 2/-; buttermilk pigs, £2 18/- to £3 3/-; choppers, to £5 3/-; large stores, £1 18/- to £2 1/-; smaller, 18/- to 25/-.
