Lyness left Kerikeri on Saturday for Dunedin, where she is taking a four-year course in home science. Mr and Mrs Nevil Taylor, of Whangarei, spent the week-end in Kerikeri with Mr and Mrs D. Taylor. Mrs S. Goodson has returned to Kerikeri after spending a week in Auckland. Mrs M. Browning, after six weeks in Kerikeri with her daughter and son-in-law, Mr and Mrs J. A. Cresswell, has returned to Auckland. Miss Pam Miller has returned to Kerikeri after spending a few days as a guest at Otaha, the home of Mr W. E. Hyslop. She will go to Auckland shortly. Miss Goodson, of Auckland, is staying with her brother and sister-in-law, Mr and Mrs S. Goodson. Mr and Mrs B. Rowson left on Sunday for Auckland, where they wifi spend a few days as the guests of Mrs Sword, Mrs Rowson’s mother. Mr and Mrs Kerr-Taylor have left Kerikeri after a week with Mr and Mrs Bill Dakers. Mrs F. W. Jones and her two sons, Austen and Gwyn, are away for a fortnight. Miss Winifred Vickery left Kerikeri on Fi'iday after spending a fortnight’s holiday. Miss M. Cooke, of Auckland, who has been staying at Shropshire Farm, has returned to Auckland. Mrs Charles Mason, Mrs Louison and Mrs Wilkin, of Auckland, have returned home. Miss Fleming, Miss Hardy and- Mrs Turnbull have returned to Auckland. Mr Hazard, of Dunedin, has returned home after staying at Kerikeri for the Waitangi celebrations. Miss Thompson, Mr Brock and Mr De Leun' have left Kerikeri. Mr and Mrs J. H. Beale, of Parnell, have returned home. Mr Dutton has left Kerikeri for his home in Auckland. Mr Colin Mac Diarmid has left for Wellington, where he will spend a week. Mrs Mac Diarmid, accompanied by her son and daughter, Alan and Alice, has returned to Wellington. Mrs W. J. Hawkings, with her daughter, Miss Sheila Hawkings, has left for Auckland, en route for Shanghai, where she will rejoin her husband. Mrs Hawkings expects to return to Kerikeri in a year's time. Mr D. Lyness has gone to Burnham, where he is going into camp for a fortnight before proceeding to Dunedin. ' News has been received that Mr Colin Little has received a commission in the R.A.S.C. It is understood that he is now on service, somewhere in France. Mr and Mrs P. Everett have taken up residence in the house of Mr A. E. Williamson. ■
