PIGEON FLYING

The Whangarei Homing Pigeon Club held its second young bird race for the season, from Auckland when a fair number of birds were liberated in stormy weather. The birds were well split and the first three home were: E. GflbP.v’? Olympic, 1; H. Parkin’s Blue Peter, 2; D. Millington’s Blue Skies, 3, In the next race the birds will fly from Papakura.
