KAWAKAWA, This Day. There was a good gathering of dancers at the ninth annual Fire Brigade Ball held at Kawakawa on Friday night. Music was supplied by Davison’s Orchestra. During the evening novelty.dances were conducted, the winners being Mr E. Povey’ and Miss I. Cookson (Monte Carlo), Mr N. Morris and Miss C. Fraser (spot waltz). A tap dance was performed by Mr Norman Fraser, and an acrobaticdance by Miss P. Fraser. • Noticed among those present were: Mesdames G. McGlashan, gold taffeta; N.
