Mr Bert Simmonds is home on final leave. Mr and Mrs Kirk arrived home after a visit to the Centennial Exhibition. Miss Dorothy Plimley is on a visit to Oruru and Peria. Miss Joan Garton has been away on a holiday to Whangarei. Mr and Mrs Forsyth are spending a few weeks’ holiday in Whangarei. Mrs R. Yates and daughters are home after spending a few weeks in Whangarei. Miss Snell spent her Christmas holidays in the south. Mr Ben Trigg met with a painful accident while repairing the spouting on his house. His ladder slipped and Mr Trigg fell on the concrete path. Sister Jessie Maria has been spending her holiday with her parents, Mr and Mrs Albert Maria. Mrs Len Francis is an inmate of the Kaitaia hospital.
