Surprise Party

A surprise party of about 30 called upon Mr and Mrs C. Robinson dining the week, the occasion being the anniversary of their silver wedding. Tile company scon settled down to enjoy a bright and happy evening spent in music, singing and games. Items were contributed by Messrs J. Platt and B. Robinson, a duet, B. Ackers, a solo, and Mrs Robinson, an item on the accordeon. The unexpected arrival of Mr Robinson’s youngest brother and sister-in-law from Mangawai was a pleasant surprise.
