Petrol Ram Freely

Whangarei petrol resellers did great business yesterday when most people were anxious to fill their tanks before restrictions came into operation today. Some bowsers made record sales, while the proprietor of another, in a big way, said that more motor spirit had been sold than for any one day in the past two years. The rush lasted all day and until 10.30 at night. Motor garages are being kept surprisingly busy, motorists having cars repaired and reconditioned as usual, evidently with the intention of getting the best possible service from the fuel available.
