LONDON, January 29. Major-General Sir John H. Davidson, chairman of the Union Bank of Australia, speaking at the annual meeting, said he hoped wool control would not lead to over-high prices, resulting in a large carry-over, which would depress the market after control was relinquished, and would also prejudice the future of the market in neutral countries and stimulate the production of artificial fibres.
