Excellent work is being done in the Okaihau district dental clinic despite the handicap of temporary and inadequate quarters.
Every endeavour is being made to have a standard clinic erected ns soon as possible and an excellent site at the consolidated school has been selected.
The chamber of commerce, approached for assistance in raising £2O the amount required in addition to the £l3O in hand, agreed to loan the money to expedite the erection of the clinic.
Tenders for the building of the clinic have closed and the erection of the building should be put in hand shortly.
