All Margarine To Be Vitaminised

(Received 2 p.m.) * LONDON, January 29. The Parliamentary Secretary to the Ministry of Home Security (Mr A. T, Lennox-Boyd) announced that all margarine will be vitaminised from February 5. The introduction of vitamins A and D will give a vintamin content equal to butter to even the cheapest margarine sold at 5d a lb.

Meat rationing would be announced shortly, when frozen meat would replace chilled, which was short-lived and therefore risky in wartime. The Food Ministry would soon be tHe sole importer of tea.
