Parua Bay Sheep Fair
Walter Wakelin reports having held a successful sheep fair at Parua Bay yesterday. The entry was greatly affected by the adverse weather conditions.
Fat wethers made to £1 5/; store wethers, 14/ to 18/; five-year-old ewes, to 17/10; aged ewes, 10/ to 15/; cull lambs, to 8/2; Romney rams, to £2 10/; aged rams, 5/ to 10/.
