“World Wears Wood Eats Sawdust”

[Special to “Northern Advocate"] KAITAIA, This Day. “Literally the world clothes in wood and eats sawdust,” said Mr Morgan Williams, M.P., at Awanui last night. The speaker was dealing with unemployment problems and recommended the growing of pine trees on waste lands. He outlined the modem uses of synthetic' wood products, and said he regarded the industry as one holding great prospects, whether in peace or wartime. Accompanied by Mr C. W. Boswell, M.P., Mr Morgan Williams is touring the North, speaking on Dominion problems and the Government’s policy from the farmer’s point of view.
