N.Z. Anti-Tank Battery At Britain’s Disposal

f (Received 2.30 p.m.) LONDON, • January 8.

The New Zealand High Commi?sioner (Mr W. J. Jordan) announced that the New Zealand Government had placed the Anti-Tank Battery, composed of New Zealanders resident in Britain, at the disposal of Britain, conditional on its later being released to join the New Zealand Expeditionary Force.

Mr Hore-Belisha sent a message of appreciation at the offer, and the fine spirit prompting the unit’s formation.
