French Ambulances
Leave For Finland (Received 2.30 p.m.) PARIS, December 21. Two ambulances, driven and manned by society women volunteers have left for Finland. The women belong to the motor section of the French Red Cross. They provide their own cars and expenses, and undergo the severest endurance tests before enrolment. One section is already serving on the Western Front, and has bought 12 and ordered 30 more ambulances. The first contingent of Swedish volunteers numbering 200 has; gone io Finland.
