Australia’s Voice Emphasises Empire Unity
(Received 11 a.m.) MELBOURNE, This Day.
Australia’s first short-wave world broadcast was received clearly nnea broadcast was received clearly in nearly all countries for which the fivelanguage programme was destined. Cable reports received by the Ministry of Information today indicate that Australia’s voice brought to listeners in Allied and neutral countries a welcome emphasis of the Empire’s unity.
The British Minister in Bulgaria reported that reception in Sofia was excellent.
