The Paris communique states that there was overnight patrol activity on the central part of the Western Front.

Intense Fighting Commentators state that intense fighting has been raging for 24 hours along the line of advance outposts in territory which is about six miles wide forming a salient into the general enemy line. A Berlin High Command com- . .munique says that isolated reconnaissance flights were carried out , over Britain yesterday. East of the Moselle there was slight enemy artillery harassing fire on German advanced p^sts.
