Chamber’s Tribute To Retiring President
Reference to the excellent work done by the retiring chairman, Mr J. S. T. Tudehope, was made by his successor, Mr C. Waymouth, at last night’s annual meeting of the Whangarei Chamber of Commerce. The position had been filled so admirably that he approached it with some misgivings, Mr Waymouth said. Replying, Mr Tudehope attributed the successful year’s working to the co-operation of a hard-working executive.
