Three Injured in Car Smash

[Special to “Northern Advocate ”] TE AWAMUTU, This Day.

When the car in which they were travelling capsized cn the main road a mile north of Te Awamutu yesterday afternoon, throe people were injured, one seriously. The victims were:

Mrs Mary Ethel Webster, New Lynn, concussion, scalp wounds and shock; condition serious.

Mr James Webster, her husband, lacerated ear, abrasions and shock; condition net serious.

Mrs Ida Ward, of New Lynn, shock and abrasions and injury to the back; condition not serious.

A tyre blew out and the car somersaulted.

The victims apparently were thrown through an open sunshine roof in the car, and were found ten yards from where the vehicle came to a stop.
