The German official news agency says: “Enemy artillery irregularly bombarded a hill south-west of Schnaaberg, and also the Castle Meinsberg district. “The German artillery was never at a loss for an answer. “The French, for the first time during the war, ■ tried to disturb the Palatinate Forest entrenchments.” Planes Over Paris. The Rome radio states that German reconnaissance aeroplanes penetrated to the south of France and also reached Paris, but were driven off. No bombs were dropped.
