Overcast with occasional rain, although there will be fair intervals. A deep westerly depression is approaching across the Tasman Sea. Strong northerly to north-east-erly winds, seas rough, mild temperatures.
Monthly ForecastUnsettled, Cold At First Unsettled and colder weather is indicated during the first few days of the month, with almost wintry conditions. Hail is likely in western districts. After the first week, fine weather v/ill prevail, with warm to hot temperatures. Generally fine weather will continue until the last week of the month, when a tropical disturbance is expected to bring easterly to northerly gales, accompanied by heavy rain and unsettled conditions continuing for several days.
