Melbourne Returns To Winter
MELBOURNE, November 28
After several days last week of temperatures over 80 degrees, Melbourne’s climate returned to winter yesterday and today with thunderstorms. heavy rain and violent gales. The minimum temperature today was 48 degrees and the maximum 57.
In the nearer hills the temperature was down to 25 degrees, with heavy snow.
Total rainfall this year to date is 32ins, compared with 17ins last year and an average of 25.5in5.
