Te Awamutu Shops To Close Also
[Special to “Northern Advocate ”] TE AWAMUTU, This Day. To allow employees of Te Awamutu retail firms to attend the mass meeting at Hamilton on December 4, to consider the probable effects of the import restrictions on shop staffs, the Te Awamutu Retailers’ Association decided at a largely-attended public meeting yesterday to close shops in Te Awamutu on that afternoon.
