21 Sentenced To Death At Bangkok

(Received 11.30 a.m.) SINGAPORE, November 24,

A special court, at Bangkok passed the death sentence on 21 persons convicted of insurrection by trying to overthrow the Government.

Three have been reprieved and given life sentences.

Twenty-two others were sentenced to imprisonment for life. Seven were acquitted.

Those reprieved included a son of King Chulalongkorn, also the Commander of Siam's Expeditionary Force to Europe fn the Great War.

Two sons of this commander are among those sentenced to death.
