Princess Gives Evidence Against Rothermere
(Received 2 p.m.) LONDON, November 9. On resumption of the case in which Viscount Rothermere is being sued for breach of contract by Princess Stefanie of Hohenlohe-Walden-burg, the Princess stated that she often saw Hitler at Lord Rothermere’s instruction. Lord Rothermere told her in 1932 that “now is the time to boost the monarchy. You will be one of the most important women in Europe.” Gandhi. The Indian Nationalist leader (Mahatma Gandhi) said today that, while there was no workable arrangement with the Moslem League, •civil resistance must involve' resistance to the league. :■
