Metalling of the Oromahoe School road has new been completed. Advice to this effect was received from the Public Works Department at Thursday’s monthly meeting of the Bay County Council. 1 The road has been handed over to 1 county control. | As a result of complaints regarding i wandering stock on highways, the { council took steps to stop the menace, t Cr. J. T. McKeown, in whose riding j wandering stock causes continual j trouble, was given authority to ap- j point local rangers to suit the needs of the locality. j Mr Jack Clark, a Kaikohe drover, fs I to be approached by the county clerk to see if he will act as the county’s' ranger in the KaiKbhe district.
