German Ships Crowd Mexican Port

NEW YORK. September 6

Seven hundred and fifty Americans disembarked at Havana from the German cruise ship Columbus. They reported that the liner had been convoyed through the West Indies by a German submarine.

The correspondent of “The Times” in Mexico City says the port of Vera Crur, is crowded with German ships from the Caribbean Sea and Central American ports.
