Bombers Attack German Fleet
R.A.F. bombers successfully attacked the German Fleet at the entrance to the Kiel Canal.
This was officially announced from London at L 45 p.m. today. One battleship was severely damaged by several direct hits, while another lying alongside the mole also suffered extensively. Operations were carried out in very Unfavourable weather. . German fighters engaged the bombers, causing same casualties. According to German news, five bombers were brought down by antiaircraft fire.
