Germany’s Population
(Independent Cable Service). (Received 1 p.m.) BERLIN, July 23. Women outnumber men in Germany 'by 1,953,000, according to the latest statistics. Greater Germany has ,a population of 85,500,000, while the iumber of Germans throughout the world is over 100,000,000.
Mr Adrian Seligman, formerly master of the barquentine Cap Pilar, which visited Auckland in j. 937 on a world cruise, has been appointed second officer of the new Royal research vessel Research, which is now fitting out - at Dartmouth.
