The Hon. Walter Nash, New Zealand Minister of Finance, who has secured from Britain credits for nine million pounds, has Mated that no pledges were made regarding New Zealand's future financial policy. Mr Nash, who was bo T n at Kidderminster, has had a lifelong association with the . Labour movement. On coming to New Zealand he linked up with the Labour Party, and, when that party was returned to power in 1935 he became Minister of Finance and Markting. In these roles he has been a foremost figure in Dominio?i politics, and is now paying his second important visit to Britain.
