Kaikohe W.D.F.U. Meets

Despite the bleak weather the Kaikohe W.D.F.U. held a good meeting. Mrs J. Orr occupying the chair. A letter was received from Mrs Schepens, the representative of the Kaikohe W.D.F.U., attending the Dominion Conference in Wellington.

Competitions resulted as follows: Best bloom. Mrs Berry 1. Mrs F. Orr 2. Mrs J. Orr 3. Something new out of something old, Mrs Grayhani 1, Mrs Bowel - 2, Mrs Henley 3.

The roll call for tho month was “An ideal holiday” which, brought forth many bright suggestions.

Next month’s competition is “Three largest eggs” and the roll call “My greatest labour savor and how it is made and used.”

Members received an invitation to attend a party sponsored by the Chaeawai Dressmaking Class to be held next Tuesday in the Soldiers’ Hall. Ohaeawai.
