Mr. Albert I. Cassidy

OBITUARY

The death occurred in Auckland last week of Mr Albert Inch Cassidy, aged 71 years, well known in the Ctamatea district.

Mr Cassidy spent his boyhood near Motueka. Later he resided at Maungaturoto and Mangapai, before taking up land in the Taipuha district. Fading health necessitated the removal of Mrs Cassidy and himself to Auckland. In his young days, Mr Cassidy engaged in all branches of athletic sport. His brother, Sergeant V/. Cassidy, who predeceased him some months ago, was a veteran of two wars and wore the medal of the Royal Humane Society. Mr Albert Cassidy was interred last Friday at O’Neill’s Point Cemetery. His wife is I'esident at Takapuna.
