Good Prices At Otaika Clearing Sale
Messrs. Alfred Buckland and Sons, Ltd., report having held a clearing sale on account of Mr L. Wright, of Otaika, on Monday, when there was good competition for well-grown dairy stock, close up. Small and backward stores were not sought. Best three-year-old springing heifers made from £8 2/6 to £9 17/6; good three-year-olds, £6 15/- to £7 15/-; smaller, £5 5/- to £6) calved heifers, £G to £7 5/-; calved cows, £6 10/- to £8 5/-; springing cows, best. £6 10/- to £8 10/-; backward cows, £3 to £5 10/-.
