QOUNTY OF WHANGAREI MOTOR LORRY TRAFFIC RESTRICTED Public notice is hereby given that the Whangarei County Council, in exercise of the powers conferred on it by Clause 3 of Regulation 8 of the Heavy Motor Vehicles Regulations 1932, has prohibited the use of all heavy motor vehicles on what is i generally known as the PipiwaiKaikou road from the end of the Main Highway at the Hikurangi river bridge to the County boundary at Kaikou, as from the 26th day of July, 1939, to the 31st day of October, 1939, inclusive, provided that this prohibition may be modified in special cases and on such conditions as the Council thinks fit to impose on written application setting forth all facts in support thereof. COUNTY COUNCIL. NOTICE OF SPECIAL ORDER. Public notice is hereby given that at a Special Meeting of the Whangarei County Council, held on Friday, the i 14th day of July, 1939, the following Resolution was passed and will be submitted for confirmation at an ordinary meeting of the Council, to be held on. Friday, the 11th day of August, 1939, at 10 a.m. at the Council Chambers, Whangarei. RESOLUTION: WHEREAS in the opinion of the , Whangarei County Council the land desci’ibed in the schedule hereto is no longer required for the purpose of the County, the said Council in pursuance of the powers vested in it by Section 152 of “The Counties’ Act 1920,” hereby authorise the sale of same.
