Collision Fatal Motor
[Per Press Association. Copyright . 3 PALMERSTON N„ This Day. A fatal collision occurred on the Levin-Foxton highway last night. The victim was: Mr Bertie Robert Way, garage proprietor, of Foxton. Mr Way was travelling as a passenger in a car driven by Mr J. Hayfield, of Levin. The collision was with the rear of a stationary lorry in charge of Mr T. Marchant. The impact tore the side of the car out and a portion of the roof. Mr Way received shocking injuries, but Mr Hayfield escaped with slight cuts.
