Draws Made For Harding, Brake And Powell Shields
The North Auckland Rugby Union, at a meeting last evening, made the draw for the Harding Shield, the senior Rugby trophy in the North, at present held by Mangonui, as follows: August 5, Hokianga; August 12, Otamatea; August 19, Whangaroa; September 2, Whangarei; September 9, Bay of Islands; September 16, Northern Wairoa; September 23, South Hokianga. The draw for the Brake Shield, the Northland junior trophy, held by Whangarei, is as follows: August 5, Bay of Islands; August 12, Otamatea; August 19, Northern Wairoa. The draw for the Powell Shield, the third grade trophy, held by Whangarei, is as follows: August 5, Bay of Islands; August 12, Rodney; August W, Northern Wairoa.
