Taxation Screw On Higher Incomes
[Special to “Northern Advocate ”] WELLINGTON, This Day. Dr. D. G. McMillan, M.P. for Dunedin West, in the course of a public debate held under the auspices of the Victoria College Debating Society, said that the Government intended to increase the tax on higher incomes and to greatly increase death duties.
