Balkan Amity Is Matter For Balkans
—BRITAIN’S SPOKESMAN. (Received 12.30 p.m.) LONDON, July 10..

Butler, was asked in the House of Commons whether any approach had been made to Rumania to add to the stability of Eastern' Europe, and Rumania’s own security, by ceding Southern Dobruja to Bulgaria, and by the exchange of suitable minorities. “I would, refer the honourable member,” replied Mr Butler, “to the answer which Mr Chamberlain gave on May 1, in which he stated that Britain, while attaching the greatest importance to the principle of Balkan unity, considered these questions must primarily be settled by negotiations between the countries concerned.”
