Kawakawa Again Defaults In Bay

[Special to “Northern Advocate ”] KAIKOHE, This Day.

For the second week in succession, the Kawakawa senior team defaulted, with the result that only two senior games were played in the Bay competition on Saturday. Kawakawa was to have played at Kaikohe, but the travelling team failed to arrive and the decision was given to Kaikohe.

Results were as follows: — Seniors: —Kaikohe beat Kawakawa, by default; Otiria 3, drew with Motatau 3; Ohaeawai 15 beat Ruataniwha 5 3.

Juniors. —Kaikohe A 14 beat Kaikohe B 3; Okaihau 19 beat State Forest 0; Ohaeawai 3 drew with Oromahoe 3; Maromaku 15 beat Opua 3; Taumarere 18 beat Motatau 3.
