ENGLISH TRADESMEN IN NEW ZEALAND.—The first party of skilled tradesmen from England brought out under arrangement by the New Zealand Government, arrived by the Rangitiki on Thursday afternoon. There were 59 men in the party, and they were met by the Minister of Housing, the Hon. H. T. Armstrong, who is seen in front of the group. In the illustration below they are seen filling in the forms provided by the Placement Officer (Mr John Lewis) who met them on arrival.
