Munitions Arrive, But Quiet Today
(Received 1.0 p.m.) LONDON, July 3,
This morning’s news from Danzig states .that the situation is unchanged. Reports are filtering in of additional German munitions arriving. It was understood that M. Chodacki, Polish Commissioner at Danzig, after conferences at Warsaw, would return to-morrow to present a Note to the Senate, protesting against the militarisation of the Free City, but,he returned unexpectedly to-day. The Danzig Senate to-day issued a decree that all Danzigers can be called up for work regarded as important for the State.
French political circles suggest that Britain, France and Poland should jointly warn the Senate against the move to transfer to the Reich. Opinion' is that Herr Hitler does not intend a coup in the "immediate future. Sir*. Neviie Henderson, British Ambassador, will fly from London to Berlin to-morrow.
