World’s Fair Gifts To Princesses

NEW YORK, June 25. During Their Majesties’ visit to the World’s Fair on June 10, the Queen was overheard to remark to the King: “I wish the children could see all this.” Mrs Grover Whalen, wife of the president of the Fair, promptly set aNsut getting as much of the Fair as possible to- the Princesses. She has gathered the most complete collection of mementoes of the Fair ever assembled. It comprises 1200 articles, including miniature reproductions of many of the exhibits, a model of the trackless train in which Their Majesties rode, and models of ships with sails unfurled. It is understood the Princesses will receive the gifts at a party specially arranged at Buckingham Palace.
