Fierce Bombing By Japanese
(Received 2.30 p.m.) LONDON, June 25
One hundred Japanese ’planes bombed a wide area in eastern Kwantung, in an attempt to halt Chinese reinforcements going to Swatow. Thirty ’planes worked havoc in Mingshing. Fifty deaths are reported fx’om Chinghai, as a result of bombings, says a message from Shanghai.
