Whangarei Lose In Women’s Final
Excitement ran high when the final of the Provincial Cup hockey tourney was decided between Hauraki Plains and Whangarei A at Melville Park on Saturday afternoon. Hauraki proved the winners by 2 goals to 0. Whangarei attacked early, but Miss L. Gubb and Mrs B. Norrish were sound on defence. Donagy being responsible for a nice shot. Whangarei intercepted well, but were no match for the faster opposing forward line. Miss L.
