Police Recalled To Weraroa

[Special to "Northern Advocate”! PALMERSTON N., This Day. It was learned yesterday that Constables Scanlon, of Wellington, and Turvcy, of Palmerston North, returned to the Weraroa Training Farm yesterday. Why the two constables were recalled is not known. There have been no further untoward incidents at the farm.

The Chancellor of the Exchequer, Sir John Simon, announced yesterday the withdrawal of his budget proposal for an excise duty on cinematograph films.
