Two Fatally Struck By Cars

The death occurred in the Auckland Hospital on Saturday of Mrs Ellen Harriett Esther Black, aged 42, of 3 Minnie Street, Eden Terrace. She was struck by a taxi-cab on Thursday night, and suffered concussion, fractured ribes and other injuries. A Gisborne cable states that injuries from which he later died in hospital were suffered by Mr Thomas Wright Mushter, aged 67. when he was struck by a light delivery truck on Saturday evening. Mr Mushter was crossing the road to visit a friend when he was struck by a van driven by Mr Hugh Ernest Clark.
