GIANT LINER NEARS COMPLETION. —An aerial view of the new Cunard-White Star liner Mauretania passing into Gladstone Dock on May 14 after coming down the River Mersey from Cammell, Laird and Company’s yards at Birkenhead, where she was built. When the photograph was taken the Mauretania was rudderless, this part of the liner’s final equipment being added when in dry dock .
